"A nice surprise! The suite was even larger than we expected. The balcony had 2 glass sliding sets of doors to access it, and a small balcony off the kitchenette area. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, great AC, refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The pool was great & the garden beautiful! There is a pair of resident peacocks that live in the garden/pool area of the hotel. A male & female that are very calm, but you may hear them in the morning. There is also a school that backs up to the pool area, so if that kind of noise bothers you be sure you do get a room above the pool. We actually enjoyed the peacocks & the noise of children going to school! We did not eat at the restaurant. Sunday morning there was a band & the music was extremely loud. There are many great restaurants nearby, so we never tried the hotel restaurant again. Paseo 60 is 2 blocks away; it has restaurants, breweries, wine bar, shopping and a ADO bus station. Parque Santa Ana is about 8 blocks in the opposite direction. Paseo de Montejo & mansions, museum’s & interesting sights is about 3 blocks away. We would definitely stay again. "

"Helpful staff and great breakfast. Only issue I had was parking. The hotel is located on a walking only street. I wish I knew that before we showed up. I had to park down the street and walk to Check in. Then they told me where to park. If i knew ahead of time where to park it would have made the check in easier. Staff was very friendly and also helpful. Location was great for walking the center of the city. If I do come back to the area I would stay there again. "
