"We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required. "This is a very nice Mercure Hotel. It is a 15 minute ride to town; however, the taxi ride cost is only approximately $6 US dollars. The breakfast cost is $25 USD; however, it is excellent and plentiful. The service at the hotel, from the reception desk to housekeeping is excellent. Internet reception is very good. We did not use the pool nor the spa, so I can’t comment. "
