"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. "Noise from the kitchen extractor was loud until quite late which was a shame. The bathroom had swing doors which were stiff & noisy to open during the night & with an auto light sensor meant that when one of us got up to use the loo the other was woken up. Shame as it’s a lovely place & it wouldn’t put us off staying again. Also very handy location for Bristol airport. "

"Nice warm and clean room called Ashley. Comfy bed and nice touches like a jar with fresh baked cookies with the tea and coffee. Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet. Very good breakfast and evening meals although a bit limited in the number of meal choices. This meant we only ate on one evening as we did not fancy the other things on the menu"
