Small parking area for reception at the back (which was not communicated on booking). Then had to move the car to other parking for overnight. Check in guy Billy was helpful but when we left neither of the female staff even spoke to us. Just smiles when we handed the key back. No “thanks for staying with us” etc. Good location to walk to local restaurants and the cable car. ...

"The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM."

"Property was in good location. Staff were friendly. Bed and bathroom were nice. The internet was down for 2 days, and the tv in the room wouldn’t power on. Also, after 1800 there are no staff, just a kiosk to self check-in. Good for budget travelers wanting to explore Wellington."
