"Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "

"Tavistock House Hotel was super clean and the rooms had everything you could need. Free parking was a bonus. Brad and his team were so helpful and friendly and it was only a short walk to town."

"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"
