"This is a large and busy hotel, quite convenient to the train station, and situated on one of Colombo's lovely lakes. It felt like a Vegas property, absent the casinos. My room was okay -- reasonably comfortable and business like. The big attraction are the numerous restaurants, shops and entertainment options. Plus, a pool that is open to 9 p.m. My favorite thing was swimming in the huge, almost entirely empty pool, under the night sky, with the giant Lotus Flower Tower all lit up...

"The room was very clean and spacious. There's a bar, restaurant, and pool at the top of the building, and the sunset view from there was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful. There's also a supermarket right in front of the building, which was very convenient. Overall, very satisfied. 部屋はとても綺麗で快適でした。ホテルの目の前にスーパーがあって便利です！屋上にプールとレストランがあり、夕陽が綺麗に見えました。おすすめです。 "

"About 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. The pool is amazing. The room is a bit worn, but the overall experience made up for it — the restaurant is a gem. It offers lots of food options and a peaceful atmosphere with views of the garden and lagoon. The pool is also very beautiful and well-maintained. "Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast...

"Worst ever hotel. I have no idea how Expedia give them 5star. This is not even close to 3 star. Power breaker goes off every minute. Keeps changing room and nothing is fixed. Never going to stay in this hotel. You should consider giving a professional assessment before rating stars to a property "
