"We chose the hotel based on prior recommendations and also the location. We explored the Petite France and Old Town Strasbourg areas and enjoyed the many restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. There was a lot to see and the location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was amazing and helpful. We appreciated their thoughtfulness when they found out it was our anniversary. "

"Advertised as air conditioning and heating (on Hotels.com, their own website, and a phone call to confirm) but turns out that the hotel disabled air conditioning and refused to allow use. Hair in shower upon check-in. Overall, beautiful room but uncomfortable due to lack of air conditioning despite confirming availability of such when booking."

"We stayed in the annex in room 351, beautiful room, very comfortable king bed, bathroom was large and the shower was amazing. Large windows that opened onto the canal. Would definitely stay and recommend this hotel when stay in straubourg. "

"The way the bath and shower had been designed is just inacceptable : it is just impossible to take your shower without banging your head on the ceiling which is very low. In the room next to ours, it was the same! You cannot 5* to a hotel, where you do not have the possibility to take a shower in normal conditions, this is the basics ."
