"We’ve just arrived home from a one night stay and we’re very impressed with this hotel. This is a quintessential British old fashioned luxury hotel. The rooms are all individual and ours was very large with a wonderful view of Cheltenham racecourse. The oak panelled dining room, gave a feeling of grandeur without being stuffy and the food and serving staff were excellent both at dinner and breakfast. "Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Food was very nice. Room was comfortable with a well stocked mini bar. However my advice would be don't stop in room 15. However pleasant looking, The kitchen Aircon stays on till 10pm and comes on again around 7am making it very difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. slept 1 night out of 4. "
