We tried to have an early check in, but our room was not ready, and it was still not ready at regular check in hours. "Overall we enjoyed our stay at the St Athans Hotel. There were plenty of restaurants and shops around which were easy to walk to. The staff was helpful and kept our luggage safe and locked when it was too early to check in and after when we had checked out but it was too early to go to the airport. They cleaned our room and provided us with extra towels when asked. We also felt safe since you cannot just walk in- you ring the bell and they have to let you in. We were worried the shared bathrooms...

"Came for a one night stay. Short taxi ride from Kings Cross station. Warm welcome and the room was ready a couple of hours early which was a bonus. Nice room. Compact but everything you need. Very comfy bed and also very quiet at night. Local pub 50 yds away if you didn’t want to use the hotel. Had a very nice steak in the evening at the hotel and the breakfast was exceptional. Would we use it again"
