"This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."

"Don't waste any time. This is the place. Perfect grounds and classic structures. Great restaurant! Chef over-heard me ask about where was 'the local spot" for the best cottage pie. He made it special for me that night for dinner. It was the "Shakespeare of Cottage Pies. As a veteran of California spas for many years, this is the best spa experience ever, with amazing bubbling pools that connect inside to outside, a series of sauna's from dry to infrared to steam, and a sensory deprivation...

"This lovely pub, with separate accommodation block was a real find. Definitely recommend it to others. Free parking available at the accommodation. Good WiFi signal in the accommodation. Delicious meals available in the pub next to the accommodation. A real find!"

"A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. Just what i needed whilst working away from home. "

"Nice warm and clean room called Ashley. Comfy bed and nice touches like a jar with fresh baked cookies with the tea and coffee. Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet. Very good breakfast and evening meals although a bit limited in the number of meal choices. This meant we only ate on one evening as we did not fancy the other things on the menu"
