"Generally the hotel was a good choice; great location, nice size room, clean hotel. Unfortunately our check in process wasnt great. The gentleman who checked us in was not very welcoming nor did he talk us through the hotel such as where the lifts were, the breakfast and restaurant options, the 247 drop in shop. He asked if we wanted to put a deposit down without explaining why we may need to. And when i enquired his response was "its either a yes or no" i decided no and then asked about the...

"Lovely Hotel but do not book the "Terrace room with City View". Our "city view" was the roof of the building across the street! It was NOT worth what we paid. "

"We stayed at SO vienna from the 14th-17th March my Daughter took me for my 43rd birthday weekend. Hotel is spotless, food is beautiful, room absolutely gorgeous, soa delightful. Had a lovely stay even though it rained for the first 2 days it did not stop us exploring. Would definitely stay here again! Staff so attentive and the property is gorgeous! They even gave us a decent big umbrella each when it was raining, lifesaver as did not bring one. Upon check out gave us water for our taxi journey...

"Staff were great, especially the concierge who helped us sort out our trains to Budapest. Only negative was check-in. We had prepaid for an expensive room only to be told when we checked in that the room was not available. The front desk tried to upsell us to a room that was $100 plus higher a day than the room we paid for. We politely refused and said we wanted the room we paid for - and magically the room became available. Our superior room supposedly had a balcony with a view, more like a...
