We had room upgrade and this room had everything, as well as a shower there was a bath in the bedroom very quirky. We need to return and next time make it for longer."

"Have stayed here many times over 30+ years. Still feels special after so many visits and highly highly recommended. Staff are great, location & setting can't be beaten and restaurant does fabulous breakfast and afternoon tea (haven't eaten dinner there so can#t comment on that but suspect also great!) Only thing to be aware of is that this is a Grade 1 listed building so that limits what they are allowed to do re modern plumbing etc so if a high pressure shower is a must then you'll have to...

"Lovely hotel, staff were all kind and helpful. Spacious and clean rooms. Toiletries available were amazing. The choice of breakfast was great too. The icing on the cake, for us was the free car park and it’s only a 12 minute walk to the city centre."
