A bit too far to walk all the time and route scary to cycle back in the dark. Horse cart 150 IDR one way for 3 ppl and 200 for 4. Lots of nice resorts nearby. "

"Fantastic family friendly hotel on the north of the island, where it’s nice and quiet and has easy access to the beach. Just a note it’s IDR150k for a horse carriage ride anywhere on the island , so staying here will cost you IDR300k each time you want to go out, unless you’re happy to walk of course but we travelled with a 5 year old, 10 month old and a 72 year old, so horse carriage was needed most of the time. Hotel Rooms are superb, grounds need a little refurb but imagine it’s tough to do...

"The villa was great with a decent size pool and comfortable bed. Loved the outdoor shower. Enjoyed the breakfasts. So close to everything but also quiet. Dinner had live music. Did get some noise from the Wednesday night at the Irish bar but ear plugs were provided and it didn’t worry us."

"The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs. The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent."

"Cannot speak highly enough of Kokomo resort and the staff. Spectacular accommodation in an ideal location - close to the action but far enough away to be peaceful. The villas were spotless and the pool sparkling clean. One of the best holiday locations I’ve ever been to !!!! "
