"This is a beautiful hotel near the heart of Strasbourg. The view from our room along the canal was from a postcard! We never ate at the hotel (the meals did look fantastic, although pricey) since there was so many lovely local restaurants within a 30 second to 5 minute walk. We did use the spa area (I love the steam room) and gym a couple times. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and surrounding area is very safe. If i had to nitpick for one improvement, the room got warm...

"The property was gorgeous and artistic and tucked in by a canal and historic buildings. Impressive site! Doing outside was waiting for some time to get processed into my room.. but the room of the lifesaver on a crowded night in Strasburg. There were literally no vacancies as the European Union was having their Parliament in session in Strasburg.. this room was a godsend and the property is super impressive"

"The way the bath and shower had been designed is just inacceptable : it is just impossible to take your shower without banging your head on the ceiling which is very low. In the room next to ours, it was the same! You cannot 5* to a hotel, where you do not have the possibility to take a shower in normal conditions, this is the basics ."

"Although the River was in flood this didn't stop our wonderful evening at the Hotel. The room was delightful. The restaurant out of this world - well it should be with 2 Michelin stars - and the staff we perfect. Except for one who was very grumpy when we arrived early for dinner by 20 minutes! But hey ho the other staff were all dlieghtful and efficient. A special place."

We had paid more than $1,000 in advance to stay at this place and thought it would not be too much to ask to have coffee brought up to the room in the morning (since there was no coffee maker).
