"I feel I was misled by the photos. We were in a different building than what I thought from the main photos. The building is in need of repairs. We experienced, wifi outage - including a message when we tried to connect that the account was suspended for non payment. We were without water for an afternoon, the ac in the bedroom was not working. I have photos I can share showing the poor condition, including one of windows with boards over them presumably because the glass was broken. Paying over...

"The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"When we booked, I was unaware that I booked a villa. Boy oh boy was it huge. Everyone had tons of space. There was multiple balcony's to relax at. The Villa had a third story balcony. There are a couple pools and our Villa had an ocean view. The staff was friendly and security team was great. Le Cafe is the onsite restaurant. The food was good to great at all times. The kids enjoyed their custom ordered pizzas and the fries. We had to order extra baskets of fries as the ate them too quickly....

"An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every second, either on the beach or in the pool, watching baby turtles crawl to the sea with the Tiwi Turtle Police or visiting the nearby star fish sanctuary and the African pool. "The Penthouse is a blissful experience and if you need anything Gilbert will ensure your get it. We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds.
