"The place is beautiful, absolutely splurge and treat yourself to the VIP rooms and the spa. The staff is really great, the location is pretty convenient. It is a good true New York experience hotel. Only critique: I noticed there was additional charges on my room service bill. On the phone I was told my order was about $30. I ordered cereal, a bagel and a water. When it arrived, I noticed that were additional fees, I was not previously told about, causing the bill to cost $65. I understand that there’s up charges when it comes to room service, but not knowing how much the up charges were going to be was extremely annoying. Had I known, I would’ve made other arrangements for myself."

"The hotel is beautiful, it could use some renovations ; curtains, new mattresses, and bathrobes. The curtains didn’t look up to part ; they were dingy. The mattress I slept in had bumps in it and it was very hard. I think they are due for a change. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. I think that I overlooked any failings just because of the things mentioned above just because of the staff. It was a wonderful stay. "
