Location was excellent for food and shopping and food was great too. The beach is ok. Ugly, actually. No trees and with an infinite line of umbrellas as far you can see. you pay ~€30 for the day. And it’s unbearably hot in August, day and night. If you are vacationing from abroad , like me, there are better prettier...

"An idyllic retreat away from overcrowded touristic areas. Owner and staff are amazingly kind and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. The property has been gorgeously renovated and exudes a romantic, relaxing atmosphere. Only downside: no elevator, which is understandable, given the historic building, but a pain after a day out in summer heat. "

"We were able to find street parking within a block of the hotel. Close to the beach, but not on it so it's quiet and not crazy busy on the beach. The beach is just 2 blocks, it's really a wide boardwalk with lots of shops, cafes, fine dinning, etc. The beaches (Lidos) are private where you get a umbrella and beach chair (w/ sun shield for your head) for a fee. The showers, lockers for a fee, with a cafe/ restaurant and snack bar. This hotel has a deal with one of the Lidos but I don't know if...

"Room was air-conditioned, spacious, clean and the bed was enormous and comfortable. Food was superb. Being in middle age, we could cope with the stairs. People with disabilities will need to book a ground floor room as there is no lift. We borrowed the (free) bicycles to get to the railway station. We locked them to a proper rack outside the station. 6 hours later, we returned to find one had no saddle and the other now consisted of a front wheel only. Embarrassed, we returned to explain. We...
