"We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is huge but so tastefully done and built in a way that if you want to find quiet you can, if you want beach you can, if you want activties there are many on offer, it has something for everyone. The rooms are lovely and it is incredible to believe that you are in a country where so many people do not have power in their homes or running clean water and yet this hotel has 3 beautiful and immaculate pools, as well as numerous rooms...

"Tulia is truly a amazing hotel that goes long over expectation. Everything from the lovely garden, to the farm where the grow all vegetables to the food, the beautiful setting and design of the hotel, ocean views, coctails, nice spa, free sups and cayaks and sailing, to the most friendly staffs and great service from the first minute you arrive until you check out. "Lovely property in a quiet corner of Stonetown. Great swimming pool. Historic quality of hotel added a charming feel. Most rooms overlook the ocean. The amenities were complete and the room was very comfortable. Spend a little extra to get an outside balcony or verandah. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I can't speak for the food at the on property restaurant since I had to leave early and skipped the breakfast. I would definitely stay here...

"Staff seemed unhappy Although the advertisement says non powered water sports are included that is not true. It is a hike to do anything from the hotel such as boring diving, tours etc Everything is at least an hour away. High tide eliminates the beach. Low tide brings droves of annoying “beach boys” selling everything- they are very persistent and will kill your desire to swim in the sea. Hoses on the beach look nice but know what they will leave behind - nothing done to clear that"

"We arrived to check in around 8pm. There was only 1 person at the check in area who was handling everything from bag carrying to offering coconut to scouting for keys etc. So we had to wait abit. She also seemed abit confused with the paper work so was abit frustrating having arrived late and all we wanted was our room key. Upon getting to the rooms they are spacious however have a confused design. Seemed like an after though in the layout and designing of the rooms. We had booked ocean rooms...
