"A great choice for anyone visiting the Cotswolds as Lower Slaughter is a wonderful village and the hotel is in a perfect position. The only reason for it not making 5 stars was that the radiator in our room was not hot and we were there when it was particularly cold. Secondly, dinner was quite expensive and was not served as hot as you would expect. However staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Overall would recommed this hotel for a really comfortable stay in a great location."

"This is a very pleasant place. It is tastefully decorated and the bar offers a lovely space to grab a drink or a coffee at the end of the day. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the green back garden. My room was underground. It wasn’t dark but I could hear the cars that parked nearby and people walking on the road. "It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require.
