"Great stay, good walking distance from hotel to city centre 40minutes but a nice walk, decor in room was alittle dated but nice size room and nice options of pubs near by for dinner aswell as restraunt on site for food. Lovely stay overall and staff helpful"

"Firstly put in an accessible room with a low bed, very sparsely furnished, no bath and located outside lifts. Asked to be moved and without issue moved to a triple room on sixth floor. Starting.look a little old, mattress not the comfiest and warm in the room.Still a nice hotel close enough to centre to walk in rooms are quality. "

"Building very large and very old so the upkeep is going to be a challenge. Couldn't turn the heating down or off in the bathroom so it was nuclear hot in the room when we entered. Had to sleep with the old sash window open. Stayed in room 52 which had no lift access, massive bathroom, ceilings really high, not many power sockets for charging your electricals, TV off to the side of the bed in front of the window which made shutting curtains a challenge. "We had a very comfortable stay for two nights. We were made very welcome and the parking was excellent. The free tea and coffee in the reception area was fine. All the facilities in the room were fresh and attractive. The bed was comfortable and the two single duvets a welcome feature. The hotel is near a large retail park, rather than in the city centre, but it seemed easy enough to get there by public transport.
