"The sink was blocked and had hair in the sink, for the price the room was very basic. The service for breakfast was good the gentleman was friendly and very helpful. "

"Great location on the harbour. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited parking which is chargeable if not booking direct. 15 minute walk to town centre. We didn’t use the restaurant but looked nice with locally sourced goods. "

"We have stayed at The Victory three times now, it is very convenient if you want to go out for food around West Mersea and don't want to worry about driving. Plus it is close to the seafront walk of West Mersea Beach. Rooms are very clean, plus you have the advantage that they are part of a pub, therefore the ability to step down for a drink or food at any point."
