"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "

"Absolutely loved this hotel. Receptionist on check in was very helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fabulous, one huge room with queen bed and a totally separate room with a single bed and basin. Having a partner who snores like a freight train, the separate bedroom was a godsend. "Just spent 2 nights at The Hope & Anchor and had a fantastic stay. We arrived on Boxing Day a bit early for check in and although the restaurant was packed and the staff were really busy we got a very warm welcome and were able to go to our room.
