"Check in was very easy. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was amazing. The person at the front desk walked me to the room to show me which keys opened which doors and made sure we were happy with the room. It was definitely above and beyond. The building was older, but it’s England and it was to be expected. The room was clean and bright and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend. "

The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. "

"Superb place to stay. Everything you could need was available in the room with lovely additional features like the fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great bath and shower. We were met by the owners and shown round the facilities, including the amazingly large spa pool! "Loved our small water view out the bedroom window. Property was clean and well maintained. It was very quiet during our stay— I’m not sure how many others were also staying when we were there, but if there were people around we didn’t know! Loved the city of Plymouth, we were a short walk from some of the main hubs of town, and felt the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. You do have to pay for parking permits when you arrive, but thankfully always found parking right across the street from...
