"Like all of the reviews available this property overall was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side and could do with a paint: however the rooms are still comfortable. I had a room with a balcony and it was amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The staff were all kind and helpful and the communal areas and breakfast area were great. Plenty of breakfast options to choose from. My recommendation is to have a car (where possible) as taxi from Poggibonsi train station...

"Pros:Best hotel hairdryer ever! Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Lovely pool and outdoor facilities if the weather had permitted....Lovely restaurant staff. Be prepared to walk outside a bit to the restaurant, pool, reception and parking. The shower was awkward. Very limited storage space for clothes, luggage, etc. No outlets for charging other than the bathroom. Only one pair of slippers for 2 guests. Basic toiletries. Overall, a gorgeous property. The hotel was 3 star at best with a 3.5...

"Gorgeous hotel with ample amounts of charm. The location is excellent for exploring Tuscany and Florence. It has every bit the look and feel of a five star hotel that costs hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it lacks the touches of a true luxury hotel. Bath amenities were scarce (no conditioner, bath wash, or wash cloths provided and the hair dryer was one you would find in a cheap motel) the lack of power outlets also made the room challenging. However, for the value you simply will not...

"The facilities are terrific but the hotel staff are without equal. Everyone from the front desk to the team serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner are the best. We felt like the only guests at Villa Sabolini. We have to agree with the others that the food is top notch. We ate lunches and dinners many days and found the experiences delicious. The location of you want to explore Tuscany is perfect as it is central if you’re looking to visit Cortona or Pisa or Florence. "

"Lovely large rustic traditional rooms in stunning Tuscan countryside setting. Handy location for visiting the many local historic villages & towns of the area. Excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices & will cook eggs to your order. Lovely swimming pool in the grounds & on-site restaurant. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel"

"The air conditioning was very poor, the room was like a sauna, we had to get up at 2am and open the door as it was too hot to sleep. No window in the room to let air in. The rest of the property was fantastic, the restaurant food excellent too."

"A beautiful setting within a beautiful city. We loved this place overall. Staff were very friendly, everything about the hotel was top notch...except the comfort of the bed for me. That was the only slight negative. We would love to visit again though. Basically outstanding."
