"The hotel has a old charm , a beautiful back patio, it is clean. The stuff is professional. You can walk to the Summer Cafe on the little strip or to the magic Claybury park. The food is okay but, with a little effort in ingredients sourcing and creativity, could be better. The burger is enjoyable , the pizza: a disaster. Overall good or very good for the price "

"Although the Harvard Inn was busy with Sunday diners we were greeted warmly and efficiently. Arriving slightly before check in our room No 9 was ready. First impressions were positive. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Absolutely no complaints about bedroom or bathroom facilities. Only comment would be room was very hot, bathroom window could only be opened slightly (due to hooks in the wrong position) and the lack of a box of tissues. "Have not stayed here for a few years, not a lot has changed, stilll amazing room, with walk in shower and huge, comfortable bed. Plus some nice extra touches in the room with upmarket décor and mini fridge The brasserie is not open Mon/Tues but the café offers evening meals that were fabulous. Delicious, fresh and a great selection. The staff were amazing as well, great service, friendly and superbly attentive. Will be looking to stay here again"

The facilities in the Health and Spa centre were impressive, we were given a nice tour. Parking was easy, plenty of spaces. A lovely hotel for a short stay in a great location would definitely recommend."
