"Lovely entrance with fireplace. Lovely room decor and comfortable beds. l did not like the all glass bathroom sink. Slow food service in bar and it wasn't that crowded at the time. We had early flight and were surprised to come to the lobby at 6:15 AM to find everything dark. It all opens at 7AM. Service was variable, from extremely friendly to my husband, allowing him a coffee when we had not paid for breakfast, to less accommodating to my daughter and me arriving 5 min later. "The hotel was excellent value for money, the room was spacious, the bed very large, the air con worked as did the Wi-Fi. The reception was open 24 hours and the restaurant stayed open until 23:00. The breakfast was very nice and there is also an Irish bar, a couple of restaurants and a supermarket very close by. The bus stop into town was a few yards away and the Metro was only a 17 minute walk away. When I go back to Madrid, I will look to stay here again."

Kettle with tea/coffee biscuit and mini chocolate (nice touch) bath robes (very nice touch). Good breakfast. Always taxis outside hotel. Short walk to El Ritiro Park. Would stay hear again. "
