"We were arriving very late but the hotel staff couldn't do enough to accommodate. They were simply brilliant. Every email sent was replied to very quickly. Our key was placed in a digital lock box and code provided. The bedroom was very spacious along with a wonderful spacious bathroom. The shower gave instant hot water. "One could tell that in its heyday, this was a very busy place. But still holding on and very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic-one of the best meals I've ever had. "

"Hotel was fine, but not a great family hotel. We have three kids under 8. Patrons (October) were mostly older German adults. The room was not in great shape. The refrigerator was apparently being defrosted and was leaking all over the floor (with towels). "Lovely hotel. Only issues were reception wasn’t open past 10.30pm. This was an issue if you arrive late. Bar wasn’t open only bar in restaurant which closed at 10pm."
