"It’s nice, comfortable, friendly and well functioning hotel."

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so...

"Das Hotel punktet durch die sehr netten Eigentümer, das Frühstück ist hierbei besonders hervorzuheben. Hier wird noch alles frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, ein Mangel am Bett wurde jedoch zufriedenstellend abgestellt. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Wernigrode is a lovely town. The staff in the hotel were great. The hotel was comfortable and the food was enjoyable. We had a great time."

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest.
