"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! "Pleasant stay at Grand Hotel Admiral Palace. The physical hotel is a bit dated (only sit down tub, no functional shower); but they keep it up very well. The hotel restaurant is excellent with unique menu items. Nice pool facilities. "

"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately. Otherwise a perfect experience!"

"It does not get better than this for Cortona for convenience. Just outside the ztl, but literally on the gate to the main street, overlook the most scenic countryside. Rooms are beautiful, we had a balcony facing the countryside and enjoyed it early morning and into the night. Parking is down the cliffside, so a bit of a walk, but can easily park just outside the ztl to drop bags and then find a spot, which there were plenty of. Breakfast was abundant, lots to choose from.
