"It was a perfect location for me and my daughter. Room was clean and prefect size. Did not really see staff enough to interact with them- they have a self check in/ check out system and no phones in the room if you’re in need of help. Luckily our stay was uneventful, but not sure how to locate staff if needed Also, would be nice if they had a small Shop or vending machine with common items to purchase. "

"One of many stays at this hotel, The majority of staff are welcoming and friendly. Facilities have been adequate. But last room was getting to look a bit tired in the bathroom as the shower splash to easily onto the MDF skirting board, leaving flakey paint and swallow boards. Also the neighbouring room extractor fan sounded if it’s only a blade missing due to the bad vibration which resonated through the wall. The Spa is now looking in need of a major overhaul. "Stunning scenery and views as soon as you enter the estate and a warm welcome from reception. Room looked lovely, although a few more comforts needed. Better pillows, more toiletries, and the courtyard lighting made it hard to sleep as only had blinds (not blackouts) and no curtains. We stayed 2 nights and had no room service on the second day, so no replaced toiletries, coffee or towels (nothing major but their book said daily service). Lovely big bath. Bed was comfy. "Parking can be difficult if you arrive late, despite a large car park, but it’s free, and I’ve always got a space with a little patience so can’t complain. Lift has been out of order for at least 4 months, but it’s only 2 storey so not the end of the world. Great staff, good breakfast. Clean. Quiet rooms."
