"I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. "Check in was problematic. Although I'd booked using an Amex through Expedia, the hotel does not actually take this method of payment. This led to an embarrassing situation when my alternative card could not be accepted by their system. Luckily a separate terminal appeared and I was able to pay but all round, a poor check in experience which left me embarrassed in front of my partner."

Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls. Overall an excellent property."
