"Lovely hotel showing it age but in an elegant way. Food good breakfast was enjoyable and portions good. The location is stunning views to die for. Fantastic staff nothing to much not that we asked for much. The only drawback was the “caravan module toilet / shower room “ now I’m an above average sized person but if I’d been twiggey I would have struggled. "Had a fabulous break away with my mum for mother's day. The hotel is a little dated and had creaky floors however, when my mum didn’t sleep well on the 1st night, she got moved to a beautiful top floor sea view double (which she loved). We ate in the bistro on night 1 and the food was very average (and clearly had been left under a heat lamp all evening). "The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! "Loads of parking and friendly very comfortable hotel. Rooms large with tea/coffee facilities in room. Bathroom had a large deep bath and a separate shower. Lovely view over the golf course. Reception very friendly but staff in restaurant not fully attentive had had to go and get menus myself even though we had been seated 10 mins earlier. Food itself was fantastic. Morning breakfast staff really attentive and food selections and quality very good. Overall a lovely hotel. "

"It was such a lovely little place to find in Truro and was greeted by a very kind lady who walked me to my room, asked me how my journey was and explained everything I needed. It was as simple as needing to remember to take a set of keys with me when I left. The bedroom was immaculate with fresh linen, two bedside tables with lamps, chairs with a little table and a decent tv! The bed was so comfortable to sleep on and I slept better than I thought! There was little chocolates and fresh towels...

"Lovely place to stay and a bargain to boot - indoor pool and outdoor pool open for those brave enough to take the benefits of a cold water dip in November! Car park tight but not an issue with a small car or when there are plenty of spaces...minor issue with a large car park around the corner. Will certainly stay again if in the area."
