"Booked a 2 night stay for a romantic getaway & to explore the surrounding area. On arrival at 2.30 our room was ready which was a nice surprise. We unpacked & went to the spa, it’s very small, only 2 loungers & 6 chairs bu the pool & they were all taken. The jacuzzi was full too so we had a swim, the pool wasn’t very warm & then eventually a few people vacated the jacuzzi so we hoped in, but unfortunately it wasn’t working properly the bubbles when they started were very underwhelming! "Stayed for five nights. Nice facilites inc fridge and good shower. I asked for a better pillow and i was pleased with the prompt response. The soundproofing into the corridoor could be better and it was disappointing to note that my towels were replaced daily"

"Very enjoyable stay after a day’s cycling. Ate in the bar at night - food was fine but not outstanding - service excellent. Breakfast on the other hand was very good indeed. Hotel has a strange layout in that there are no lifts - to get to our room you had to go up approx 15 steps, walk along a corridor, then descend another staircase - very strange and not too welcoming after 4 hours on a bicycle !! "
