"The views were spectacular. The service was excellent. The room was spotless and beautiful. I have 2 suggestions. Add two hooks to one of the walls in the bathroom. There is no place to hand towels once used. Also, add a shelf under the sink area to place other toiletries."

"We didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am and whoever was at the desk was so helpful. There isn’t an elevator so they helped us with bags while we carried our sleeping kids. The hotel was quiet and beautiful- the breakfast delicious- service was beyond- would absolutely recommend for nice retreat! "

"Outstanding property. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Jose at the Big Trout Pool is an absolute all-star and just a genuinely amazing and friendly person. It’s a wonderful place to spend your first few days in Costa Rica before exploring other destinations. If breakfast were to be included in the room rate it would be even better. Food is a little bit expensive. "
