"This is a beautiful property. The room was comfortable (super hot water in the shower!) and the breakfast was good (try the banana bread!). There are hiking trails on the property. We saw monkeys and a variety of birds. Warning: don't show your teeth to the monkeys and keep your distance. They can be quite aggressive. One other note: don't leave any food out in your room. We made that mistake and attracted tons of sugar ants. "

"Wonderful experience. The rooms are all along a steep hill and have great views. We were given Room 28 Premium King bed which is close to the top of the hill and the views were stunning. The hotel has a number of golf carts and someone can take you up there if you need help. The grounds are beautiful and there are trails behind the property which lead to the Aguti reserve to which the hotel provides free admission. The staff and service was excellent as was the hotel restaurant, El Sapo. ...

"This hotel was quite a treat. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. The room was modest, but perfect for our family of 4. The view from our balcony was amazing. It had a nice little kitchen with a small refrigerator. There were no screens for the windows, but we didn’t have a need for them. We saw lots of wildlife around the property. Our only gripe was a lack of hot water in the shower. We stayed one night and had a great stay."
