"The restaurant was closed at the time of our visit. It was difficult to find somewhere to eat. That is the only negative i have. The owner was a true southern gentleman and so welcoming as well his staff. I plan to visit again this summer."

"What a treat! This is a place you come back to and just enjoy the grounds. Rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful landscaping surrounding and a quick walk to the on-site restaurants, gardens, and museums. Free breakfast and no pet fees were a huge plus! Would recommend trying to stay in a room that is not on River Rd if street noise bothers you. The road is quite busy and you can hear vehicles driving by at all hours. "
