"We booked this rental because we had a few family friends coming to town for a guys fishing trip. The setup of the house is great. Plenty of beds and plenty of space. That’s really the only positive. The cleanliness of the house could use some major improvement. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning the night before our guests arrived. "We truly enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Business. The pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the covered dock was relaxing and the hot tub with a view of the water is heaven. The home itself is well decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen is well stocked and the on-site BBQ pit was perfect for grilling steaks. The host was attentive with great communication and fast responses to any questions. He even invited us over for gumbo! We will definitely be back!"

"My spouse and I stayed at this vacation rental while visiting family during Thanksgiving week. Location was very convenient for visiting relatives in both BR area and NOLA. Well supplied with fresh clean linens, comfortable bed in main bedroom and house very clean throughout. Parks all around the area for walking and plenty of shopping nearby. Host always available for any communications. Would stay here again when in the area. "

Our daughter graduated from Nichole’s several years ago and stayed in Louisiana so this was a perfect spot for us to stay with her and our grandson. Justin was very responsive and attentive to anything we asked. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We wanted a quiet place to stay while we were in town for a family event. This was beyond our expectations: beautiful location, comfortable, clean, and quiet. "

"Stayed here for the music festival, with friends from out of state who actually own/operate VRBO property. Good location. 15min Uber drive from Lamar Dixon. Cleaning issues previously stated in other reviews NOT an issue. 4.5 for check in because all the check in details (passcode and wifi info) were different than received by app communications, but Rosevelt was very quick to reply and remedied immediately. "Very friendly atmosphere "

"We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. We met lots of great people, especially at DJ's Grill (we went there twice). Thank you for letting us stay at your unique home."

"We came into town for my daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. This house was in a perfect location, near the venue and shopping areas for everything that was forgotten on the trip. The only regret is that we didn’t book it for another day to simply relax and enjoy everything."
