"We were able to check in early, which was very appreciated! Initially we were given a room that smelled bad, but when I spoke to the front desk they immediately offered to move us to another room. "Nice reception team when I arrived. It’s a big hotel with not too many staff. Wonder if they’re quite stretched, but good service. Building overall tired and shows signs of damp/crumbling in places but clean and general maintenance alright. Bathrooms seem new and they’re nice. Be warned, no lifts…so be prepared to puff your case up a few flights if you’re on the top floor. "
