"The hotel was clean and decently maintained; however, the walls and door are extremely thin. We stayed overnight on a week day after my daughter’s surgery. She wasn’t able to rest at all due to the noise level of other guests. They were singing in the hall and their room in the middle of the night. Their behavior had nothing to do with the hotel nor the staff, it was mentioned to elaborate on my statement about the walls and door being thin."

"Next time, I will make sure to book a room with outside view. It felt very claustrophobic the room with restaurants and lobby view. There were fully booked and I was there for a conference other wise I would change rooms or check out immediately. "

"Everything was perfect - From our valet (AJ) to guest check- in (Will). Will was so welcoming and extremely pleasant and professional. We would definitely stay at Shinola again!! "

"Ok. The AI bot won’t let me put prices in the review. So….The property itself was fine. It was clean and there were some nice touches: ear plugs, new kitchen sponge, white noise machine in the bedroom, etc. Text messaging communication was good. There were two things that were not so great: the convenience store next door had sketchy people hanging out who panhandled us whenever we came or went. The WORST thing was the parking lot (on the left as you face the building) which has a sign that says...

"Everything was beautifully decorated for the holiday including the town. You had a quick walk to downtown. Very accommodating for parking the staff was informative and very hospitable. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were all consistently exceptional and with an excellent demeanor. The one area that needs improvement is that on Sunday, we left room in the late morning, and when we returned in the late afternoon, it hadn't been done. So we just asked for a new set of towels. The ladies that clean the rooms were also very nice, maybe they're short staff in said area."

"This is a decent hotel in a good location. The rooms are tired. The parking lot is muddy and could be improved. The lobby bar is very nice and the two restaurants are excellent. I think they could do a refresh on the rooms for sure and the in room products like shampoo etc need an update. Towels too could be nicer. Decent hotel for the price. "
