"The foreign receptionist went above and beyond to help with our luggage, as my wife has mobility issues and it was too much for him and he was not feeling well. We stayed in our bedroom because my husband became quite ill ie gastric flu. We made the best of a not so pleasant time on our 34th wedding anniversary. Room service was wonderful."

"One of our rooms still had a discarded pizza box from a previous user still with food in it. Communal toilets are very old and battered. Some of the rooms we couldn't open the balcony doors. The restaurant staff gave the feeling that they didn't want to be there. The rooms, food and facilities from a comfort point of view are excellent and the reception chap we booked in with was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. Would stay again. "

There was a wedding happening whislt we stayed there and apart from seeing the bride and groom doing their photos we didnt even know a wedding was happening. Nice countryside walk into Thame as well. If i had to find issues then the room could have done with some complimentary water and dressing gowns though which was a bit of a surprise considering we were in a suite and the cost of it. Car park is a bit of a walk if its raining. However...
