"Excellent hotel. The neighborhood has a famous bier hall with an excellent menu. Very friendly. The rest of the neighborhood is somewhat drab, but not dangerous or anything. Metro system close by and a few stops from Marienplatz."

"Had an unusual issue with our door not shutting all the way but they fixed it immediately! Gentleman at the front desk was very prompt and took our concerns very seriously even though he was busy with the hotel being sold out. Lots of good food, shopping, transport, and sights just a short walk away."

"Lovely new hotel close to the city center. Just a couple of mins walk to train and tram and only a few stops. Flave is a restaurant situated in hotel. Breakfast is great and worth purchasing plenty of options. Very clean modern and efficient. Would stay here again."

"We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The young lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was a very good size and so clean! They even upgraded our room which was a massive bonus so thank you for that. Breakfast was great as well. Loads of choice and all very tasty and fresh. "This hotel fit our needs great-the room was very large-with 2 sofas that pulled out into beds, in addition to the king size bed. The hotel is large in size, and some areas were under construction during our stay, but it was still clean and very quiet. Some of the areas (specifically the laundry facility) could be better marked, but not sure if that was due to the construction going on. Everything Was Great.

"The service at the hotel, especially the front desk, was outstanding. My first day I arrived at about 11:30 am, due to the flight arrival time, but they allowed me to check in early. And throughout my visit, the front desk personnel assisted with train tickets and arranging a tour for me. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side, but it was just me and my trip wasn't about staying in the room so I didn't need a lot of space. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and - unlike most hotels in the US - there was housekeeping service every day. The hotel is centrally located to everything and just a couple of blocks from a train station. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with my stay and experience with the Platzl Hotel. "
