"We were warmly greeted by the manager, she was knowledgeable about beer choices and wine. Locals were friendly in the bar. We stayed for the 2nd time in room 4. Special room with stand alone bath in the bathroom which is separate to the bedroom with a sliding door. Lots of cobwebs in the bathroom Dinner was lovely Breakfast was very good with Gluten free bread on request. Would recommend and will definitely stay again "

"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. "We had an amazing experience at homestead kevin and maria were fantastic and very attentive hosts and our room was extraordinarily beautiful . The breakfast was also 5 star and we mentioned the day before it was our wedding anniversary today and when we came down for breakfast they had left us a card and chocolates will definitely be returning and very soon x"

"Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again."

"Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10"
