"The hotel itself is great. Modern, clean, quiet. Reception is not staffed on Saturday, so you have to check in at the Park Hotel and that is where breakfast was on Sunday. It’s not far, but not convenient. It’s walkable from the train station. Good breakfast. "

"Nice lake views; occasional bad smells (3 times in two weeks); regular restaurant service is good in the newly reopened Stuebli it is fair at best; while food was great, waiters did not remove empty bread plates and champagne glasses at all, wine service was mediocre, guests closed the door while staff did not thus creating drafts. Maybe just reopening issues? Overall staff was very good. Easy train access into the city. Nice walks along the Tobelweg."

"The view from the room overlooks the lake and mountains, a free minibar with soft drinks, beers, and chocolates, hot drinks, fruits, and crackers available on the 1st floor, open 24 hours, courteous and professional staff."

"Very friendly if limited service. The place is clean and appears well-run. The restaurant downstairs shares a name and building but seems to be independent. Regardless, it is nice and worth trying. Beware the church bells! For me they blended into the background by day 2 or 3 and became much less noticeable. "

"Comfortable stay nestled in a beautiful area with two gorgeous lakes in walking distance. Room was comfortable. Dinner was a bit pricy but good quality and the staff were all very kind. No vale was present to help me with my bags, which were pretty heavy walking up flights of stairs but I guess if I had asked them for help they would have asked someone to come."

"Very nice property. I was surprised that there aren't more reviews. I believe the last review I saw before my stay was over a year ago. Nonetheless, great property and value, great location, very clean, and only a couple blocks from the lake in the historic center part of town. The only observation I would make is that head space is limited on the second floor due to the slanted roof. "
