"Awesome unit! Read the check-in instructions carefully (we didn't). We met the owners - great couple! Super friendly and they gave us a quick "car ride" tour of downtown Lisbon! Location is a bit out of the way (25min walk from the harbourfront), with limited amenities such as restaurants etc. However the good part about this is that it was very quiet at night. "I would have loved to rate this property 5 stars, but only reason I haven’t and I was very disappointed with this property was the very dark balcony. It wasn’t a balcony, more like a mini courtyard. It was enclosed, not opened for any light to come through. Only bit open was at the very top in the corner. It made the living room and kitchen very dark. I was looking forward to enjoy the Lisbon sun when having breakfast or the night view at end of the day after coming back to the apartment....

"The location is less ideal than I thought. It’s located on top of a hill, so it’s not really friendly to suitcases. There are a lot of fun bakeries and restaurants nearby. There was some confusion at check-in and it resulted in a significant delay in our itinerary. Other than that, the rooms are big and the hosts are very friendly! "

"Apartment was adequate for our needing a place within walking distance to train station for one night. It is a steep walk up hill to the location. After dropping bags, it’s very easy to explore and walk the historic locations in Lisbon. Fado music cafes/bars are abundant! Local culture too.. Apartment has steep stairs and seems newly renovated. All necessary needs included (full kitchen, coffee, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, newer furniture) There is a bar below so if you’re sleeping...

"The property was very nice but it was really made for a single person or at most two. The sofa was nice, and also served as a sofabed, did not have any linens or comforter which was a bit of a surprise. The wifi was good for the first day and did not work on the second. Nevertheless, it was a good apartment. The area was a little out of the way of the main city but within 10-15 minutes walking of the station. "

This time I was told 24 hours in advance I would get the information. This time also went by without contact. I contacted again only to be ghosted until I arrived in Lisbon.
