"This hotel is located right in the train station. You have to go the water side outside to get to it or as you come out but still in main station left and on your left is a lobby waiting room with nice furniture, go thru to front desk behind the double doors. This place is right above the train statopmbut we heard nothing!!! It was quiet, cleam and the staff especially front desk and bell people, are all super nice. There is construction going on but we were able to walk to some neat places. Highly recommend. Also you can get hop on hop off ,- yellow bus, hop tickets at front desk. Front dEsk vEry helpful. They also held our luggage after check out so we were able to see sights o. Our last day. Super convenient "

"The suite was nice with a small window through which we had a view of the Tagus River and December sunrises. The Number 28 Tram rumbled by the front of the building. The bedroom and the shower was a little tight but they were minor compromises given the overall nice atmosphere. "

"I feel so fortunate to have chosen this place. It had so much character and was so very comfortable. The neighborhood was perfect, a unique tiny restaurant every few steps from our door! After a day of site seeing we were so happy to have a delicious meal just a few steps outside our door as well as little markets for essentials. It is just a short walk to the train station and the fleet of inexpensive cabs waiting to take you anywhere you bed. Alfama is the historic district that survived the great earthquake and is the best place to stay in my opinion and this apartment is the perfect place to experience it."
