"The staff was excellent, beautiful pool view and very central to downtown. However, the property seems to be a bit old and moldy. the mattress are as hard as a rock."

"Contempo is a nice piece of property conveniently located. Definitely needs a facelift. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Our room was bit outdated, the handle for the shower was loose and came undone ( they had no one to fix it ) there was NO hot water in the shower, the air conditioning didn’t work well. "

"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. During our 4 night stay, we were practically the only guests there. So, we had the whole villa and staff to ourselves. Road access to this hotel is rural. Best to have a...

"It is a uniquue property that we enjoyed . The people are great. We did not realize the distance from the airport and at midnight the rental was closed and we hired a taxi who was a true savior(Official Airport Taxi) in finding the place and waking up the staff at 1:30 am :))"
