"The hotel was beautiful and stylish, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms had everything we needed and the were cleaned daily, they were also sound proof. Our room was across from the elevator and we did not hear a thing the while time we were there. It was very close to lots of different restaurants and cafes. I will definitely be booking this hotel again when I return to Bordeaux."

"Staff really friendly/helpful. Outside pool nice. Easy parking and good location for Bordeaux tram system. Public areas of hotel clean and tidy. Only downside, while room was clean it could have done with a bit of a refurb. "

"The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood which makes you feel like a local, close to shops, restaurants, and bakeries since Rue Fondaudege is one street over. The beautiful Jardin Public is a couple blocks aways and walking to downtown and the Chartrons area is so easy. I visited in February and walked everywhere since it felt central to everything I wanted to do (which includes the riverfront). My room was nice and clean, I think it’s newly renovated because all the fixtures...

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"The room was quite large with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was large and new. Breakfast was continental with cereals, coldcuts and juices- very filling and a great way to start off the day. Very convenient to city sights and you can have a wonderful walk along the river promenade across the street from the hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend Vatel Hotel to future travelers. "

"Great choice if you are visiting Paulliac or Saint Julien wineries at Bordeaux. Very close to a few famous ones. The room is spacious and the amenities are nice. Good restaurant as well. However, the only issue is the Accessibility, they have quite a few bumps, stairs if you are using a wheelchair or so."
