"Lovely pub/hotel in a great location. We had an excellent Sunday roast .The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My only criticism is that it needs a lick of paint here and there."

"The staff at the hotel were great and I enjoyed the stay. However the rooms and facilities are rather tired and in need of some refurbishment. Made a great weekend away to be close to a race start the next day, but not somewhere for a luxury break. "

"The accommodation is set in a lovely location & every member of staff was polite cheerful & helpful. Breakfast on our first morning was superb but sadly didn’t live up to the standard they’d set on the second morning which was disappointing but obviously a change of chef. Sadly our stay was impacted by noisey inconsiderate & uncouth neighbours but that’s outside the control of the hotel. "
