"Stayed at this hotel due to other family staying there and was pleasantly surprised at the price for an uptown hotel. Great uptown location. Try The King’s Kitchen across the street, a great restaurant with a mission. Parking is valet only but there are plenty of other options close by if you want to save some money and park yourself. Room and bathroom were clean and updated. No tub in ours but that was fine by us. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. "

"The room was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly. The entrance of the hotel looks slightly outdated and does not reflect how gorgeous the rooms are. The restaurant Sophia had wonderful food too. Good prices and overall had a great experience here. the only issue is Friday night there is a nightclub beside the room we were staying at and it was so loud, like could not drown it out, I am pregnant so I was in bed by 10pm so if you are planning to stay in early might be an issue....

"I loved this hotel. It was uniquely beautiful. Helpful, knowledgeable friendly staff. Clean with eclectic designs. I like the furniture throughout and the rooms are what I call 'sophisticated comfort'. The Kimpton Tryon hotel is truly luxurious and in the middle of lots of places to dine and shop at. The areas around the hotel are also clean and well maintained. Just a lovely hotel in a beautiful section of Charlotte."

"Two women traveling. Felt safe the entire time even though the hotel is smack dab in the middle of the city. We could see the Panthers stadium from our hotel window. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean. I would definitely stay there again. "

"I have stayed here several times & always love everything about it. It’s clean, the staff is great, the lobby area is cozy. In the winter they have a fire going. The pool is nice & clean. There’s lots of outdoor sitting areas. Great restaurants in walking distance or close by. Will always stay here when I come to Charlotte. "

"The breakfast at this place is amazing, You have to pay but if you get the breakfast vouchers it covers a bit of your meal, but the food is so good it was worth. I can be a stickler for having to pay for things, especially hotel food. But man oh man this breakfast was top notch.
