"Hótel ranga seems to be incredible for the northern lights but we stayed 2 nights and didn’t see them at all due to cloud cover. I think if you don’t see the northern lights then the hotel is ok but if the clouds are there, it loses all its USPs as we didn’t even get to go to the observatory. "Adorable Inn, great location between Glacier Bay and Reykjavik near the Black Sand Beach. We stayed two nights. I rode the one hour ride to Irafoss while my husband hiked the gorgeous countryside. Very mountainous and multiple trail options. I wish I had chosen the longer ride as the ponies famous gait, the Tölt, is as smooth as silk and their horses were fabulous. "I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. "
